Volkswagen - Beetle 1600 - 1980

This 1979 Volkswagen Beetle 1200 with 1,600 engine is in very good condition. According to the previous owner (as it does not appear on the registration form), it was imported from Germany to Spain in 1991 and was registered on that date. The engine was replaced by a more powerful 1,600 cc, which is however not type-approved in the technical data sheet. The car has had four owners and is in very good condition. It received regular maintenance from a Volkswagen and Porsche specialist. The interior is in very good condition. In 2021, the entire bodywork was restored, cleaning up, removing bumps and painting it completely. Since its restoration, it has covered only 6,000 km. As you can see in the photos, the car shows very minor signs of surface rust. The interior is in perfect condition, both the seats and the roof upholstery; the floor carpet is in very good condition and has four new floor mats. Mechanically, it is in very good condition. The engine was replaced by an AS model (1974-79) 1,600 cc 50 hp DIN in September 2021. It is not type-approved on the technical data sheet. Engine code: AS112153X. The engine ventilation plates have been replaced. It has been converted to an alternator, and the coil, spark plugs, fuel pump, battery, etc. have been changed. The fuse strip has also been changed and the car's electrical controls have been inspected. (A repair order is attached). The car has been serviced regularly, changing oils, spark plugs, gaskets, etc., as recommended by a specialist. The brakes have been adjusted for braking distribution. All four tyres were recently changed. The car is located in Madrid, near the airport. This is a vehicle to be enjoyed without having to do anything to it, so that you can enjoy it from day one.
