2012: 100% engine restoration and extensive mechanical repair at 120,000 km, at a cost of over €24,000.
2016: Extensive bodywork restoration at 140,000 km, at a cost of over €40,000.
2016: Recognised as automotive heritage with an SHVF FIVA ID card. 
2017: Featured on the TV show ‘Kult auf Rädern’ (a Swiss TV show that can be translated as 'Cult on Wheels'); transaxle era. 
Based on research, this is the oldest Porsche 928 Strosek in the world.

The vehicle has no damage from prolonged storage, and there's no service backlog. A basic service is not required, as more has been done than was specified by Porsche. Services have only been carried out by 928 specialist workshops; see copy of service booklet and History Repairs_SpareParts-Maintenance_Care.
The engine responds immediately to the accelerator and revs up slightly. The engine runs perfectly. At idle, the rev counter needle remains steady without fluctuation. No engine restoration is currently required. 
The timing belt, water pump and idler pulleys will need to be replaced in 2026 at the earliest. The timing belt, which is over 2 metres long, will then be 10 years old. The engine sound is very pleasant.
All electrical components, such as lights, indicators etc., work perfectly. The air conditioning and manual gearbox work very well. The paintwork has been well maintained and shows no dents or scratches. No work on the body or paintwork needs to be done.

On 12.9.2022, the vehicle successfully passed the technically demanding Swiss MFK (British MOT / German TÜV equivalent) inspection without any defects. 
The car is registered in Switzerland until September 2028. 
The Porsche 928 has been driven an average of 4,000 km per year over the past 10 years. Restoration and maintenance costs from 2013 to date amount to over €100,000.
