We are offering this nice Volkswagen T1 with 23 windows, in the beautiful light blue colour with lotus white roof.

This is not an original Samba but a replica from Brazil with the 23 sun windows. The light blue colour with the white roof is one of the most popular colour combinations for a VW van. The paint is a bit older and has some spots, stains and sagging (see photos). The various chrome details with black trim give this van a nice look. 

Several pieces of work have already been done on this van:

- New interior (seats, benches, door panels)
- New steering wheel 
- New headliner 
- New sunroof
- Jack stands all four replaced
- Bottom plates replaced where necessary 
- Bottom painted in protective black colour

This T1 has the well-known air-cooled 1500-cc engine and it runs fine.

The basis is a 52-year-old blue van, with matching condition. So don't expect a perfect T1, as there may be a hanging door, scratch, rust spot, non-working light, old window or rubber. It is unknown if the horn and fuel tank gauge work Therefore, state 3 for the van and state 4 for the older paintwork. 

Leave the van as it is and enjoy driving it, or refurbish it further to your liking. Whatever your choice is, the cheerful colours and 23 windows ensure plenty of attention!

This van was imported from Brazil and has a Brazilian registration. All import duties were paid and customs papers are included in the sale, of course. The van is being sold 'as is'. This is a private sale, so a warranty does not apply. We advise you to come and view the van in advance, so you can get a good impression. The van is located in Delden, the Netherlands. The van needs to be picked up within 14 days after the auction's closing date.
