A Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre V-six engine, supercharged by a positive displacement compressor. 

The Exige produces 350 hp at 7,000 rpm and offers exhilarating performance, as evidenced by a 0-100 km/ time of only 3.9 seconds. 

Top speed is around 275 km/h, but this drops to 261 km/h with the automatic gearbox: it has 6 speeds, weighs 5 kilos more than the manual (also with 6 speeds as standard) and takes only 240 milliseconds to shift. 

There is no lever, but it can be controlled by the buttons on the central console: Park, Reverse, Neutral and Drive.
For manual gear changes, there are also levers behind the steering wheel. 

In Sport driving mode, it automatically downshifts, a useful trick for slowing down more sharply as you approach a bend. 

The car on auction is in stunning overall condition and in perfect working order. 
The exterior and interior show no signs of wear and the paintwork is in excellent condition.
