Porsche - 911 2.4 Coupé Ölklappe - 1972
Very rare Porsche 911 2.4T Coupé Ölklappe.
Only 989 ever built.
This is an original Dutch car delivered by PON (demonstrably) which absolutely is an added value for this car.
However, one year of manufacture was more special than other years. In production year 1972, the so-called 911 2.4T 'Ölklappe' was delivered. This name refers to a specific oil valve on the top right of the rear wheel, where the petrol tank is located in most cars. In the 911, the oil tank was located there to ensure better weight distribution. However, the fuel tank is always located at the front of a 911. Many owners make a mistake and accidentally put petrol in the oil tank, resulting in massive engine damage. That is why only 989 pieces of the 'Ölklappe' were built, after which Porsche changed the design to prevent broken cars. Which makes this 911 a very rare car.
A partial history is available, with historical papers and also demonstrable by means of a report by the Dutch National Road Administration, a conclusive original mileage / actual mileage / current mileage of 21,568.
In all these years no costs have been spared on maintenance and that is also reflected.
The car is in an above average condition. As it has not been used for a long time, a small maintenance would be appropriate.
