This is the 122S sports version with original two carburettors.
All documents are present.

B20 is casted on the engine block.
1986 cc engine with manual, 4-speed gearbox with overdrive.

The current owner has had the Amazon since 2019 and bought it himself in the Netherlands.

The Volvo Amazon was sold new between 1957 and 1970 in sedan, coupe and estate versions. You had 3 engine types: B16 (1600cc), B18 (1800cc) and B20 (2000cc).
With the B20 engine they were only made from 1968 to 1970. This 122S version is a sport version with two carburettors. 
You can deduce from the chassis number that this is a car with a B20 engine with 2 carburettors.

However, this engine was once converted to a single carburettor due to consumption. If you want to convert this back to two carburettors, you have to count on about 1500 euros for parts. There are many suppliers for Volvo Amazon parts. We can also convert this if desired.

Overdrive on the gearbox was an option, this is used to cruise at a constant speed with a lower engine rpm, leading to better fuel economy, less noise and less wear.

This car is accident free and has always been well maintained. Parts have been replaced regularly. Recently replaced are the tyres, the battery, the muffler, some ball joints of the steering, the rear springs, oil + oil filter, fuel filter and spark plugs.
The last technical inspection took place in 2019, but it will pass the inspection again without any problems.

The paint is good but not perfect, at the bottom of the body you can find some small bubbles here and there. The bottom is solid.

The door panels and upholstery are still original and in good condition. 
The engine always starts immediately and responds well. 

The car still has the original Lucas spotlights on the front bumper, and the dashboard has a very rare storage box on top.

The car comes with its current Belgian registration documents, its latest inspection certificate and some older inspection certificates, Belgian Car Pass and some invoices of maintenance and parts.
