The perfect way to spend a sunny Saturday: pick up this beautiful dark blue BMW E36 convertible with a fellow petrolhead, in a town just below Zwolle. On arrival, the car was still neatly parked in the indoor garage of the beautiful detached house, while the owner's daily driver, a 3-Series Touring, was parked under the carport. 

A 318i convertible so neat, it needs no cleaning at all; the owner pampered it for three years. He told me he kept the car neat in every detail and that he always enjoyed doing that. For instance, renewing the plastic covers under the convertible roof, a new original antenna, very well-kept leather, metallic paint / lacquer in top-notch condition etc., etc. Nothing has been spared on maintenance either; the car has had major maintenance recently for example, including oil + filters, and the brakes have also been renewed (front + rear). Invoices of this are available. Also, when driving, you immediately notice that it is nice and fit; it drives really nice. I think it goes without saying that we drove back through the countryside :-) The windscreen does its job well - my long hair stayed in place - and made driving the convertible relaxed; therefore, the last stretch of highway was  no problem at all. This dark blue 318i Cabriolet / convertible with its beautiful black leather interior and original light-alloy rims looks pure and innocent, but without further ado. Personally, I prefer them that way. 

A lot can be deduced from the available vehicle history: on 23-02-1998 the convertible was purchased new by a private individual at Ekris BMW dealer. So it was not a lease car, which is changed every three years, but clearly a car to enjoy for a long time, no less than 9 years; until November 2007 to be exact. Then it was traded in at Ekris again. The second owner bought the blue convertible here in March 2008 and he had it for over eleven years; in October 2019, the SX-RT-47 passed to his son.

The last loving owner bought it in 2020 and owned it until June 2023. I was able to buy it over from this enthusiast. His new love, not entirely coincidentally another BMW convertible, was already waiting under the carport. 

If you are looking for a pure, unspoiled, original Dutch BMW E36 convertible, then this is definitely the car you are looking for. It is a very well cared for car with only 124,804 km, including NAP of course.
