This is a beautiful Mercedes-Benz W126 300SE with automatic transmission. The car was delivered new by the Mercedes-Benz dealer in Stuttgart to the first owner on October 3, 1986. It has always been maintained very well. The car still has the same engine it left the factory with. This is therefore a car with matching numbers.

The bodywork is completely original and has been nicely cared for. The sheet metal is nice and thin and has a correct fit. The chrome trims and bumpers look great and are all original. The car sits on steel alloy wheels as it was originally delivered. The car's paint is the original colour: "Rauch silber" (Colour code: 702). The paint is still in good condition with only some light signs of use.

The interior of the 300SE is just as well cared for as the exterior and is also completely original. The dashboard is beautifully cared for and in very good condition. The wood is neatly cared for and the instruments and controls all function as they should. The beige leather on the seats and rear seats is completely original and in very good condition. The carpets and headliner are also original and in good condition. The Becker Grand Prix radio was ordered with the car and is still present. Even the manual for the radio was preserved.

The 300SE is powered by the M103 2,960cc six-in-line engine linked to a four-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 180 hp.

You can tell from everything that this was the absolute top model of the time. Furthermore, the car is of course equipped with disc brakes all around, which allow for fine control. The suspension makes the car wonderfully comfortable and the powerful engine allows it to reach a top speed of 205 kilometres per hour. Impressive values for that time.

The car comes with the complete history and original purchase invoice from the first owner of 72,255 German marks. 

In short, a beautifully preserved Mercedes-Benz 300SE from the W126 series. 
Perhaps most impressive is that the 300SE has an understated powerful appearance, even today.
