Dit is een erg origineel bewaard exemplaar: De Fiat rijdt erg goed, hij schakelt zeer makkelijk en de motor loopt mooi. Hij start bij zowel een warme als koude start ook goed. Je kan er gelijk lekker in gaan rijden! Hij heeft z’n leven een groot deel (laatste aantal jaar) door gebracht in een Italiaanse auto collectie, waar hij droog binnen heeft gestaan. Dit heeft ‘m goed gedaan, de bodem en andere lastige en roest gevoelige plekken zijn droog gebleven; geen zorgelijke roestvorming. Zo hier en daar heeft hij wel wat vliegroest/beginnende roest. Dit is niet erg, maar wellicht goed om wel even aan te pakken of kaal te maken en te tectyleren bijvoorbeeld. Er is nog niet aan gelast bijvoorbeeld, dat maakt ‘m wel uniek. 

Het stof en de restanten van spinnenwebben in de motorruimte en aan de bodem heb ik bewust laten zitten, zo zie je dat hij dus erg droog bewaard is gebleven.  

Zoals je mogelijk zag op de foto’s heeft hij hier en daar wat blaasjes in de lak, kleine bloemkooltjes waar lichte roest onder zit, zoals bij de dakgoot en op het spatbord linksvoor. Dit is nog niet behandeld.  Als je opzoek bent naar een leuke Fiat 500 waar je gelijk lekker in kan rijden, dan is dit de Fiat die je zoekt.
