Toyota Celica 2000 ST RA28 1977

Toyota introduceerde de Celica in 1970. Voor 36 jaar lang werden er diverse uitvoeringen geproduceerd. Kwaliteit stond en staat voor Toyota nog altijd centraal! . Het desbetreffende model betreft een "liftback" uitvoering. Deze titel werd in 1973 door Toyota uitgebracht. Het wordt gezien als een combinatie van een hatchback samen met een fastback. 

De 2000 ST valt onder deze term. De liftback had nog een andere naam gekregen, namelijk "Japanse Mustang" of "Mustang Celica". Dit was vanwege de vergelijkingen tussen de 2 modellen. De liftback stond ook bekend als de RA28, en kwam met de 2.0 liter 18R motor.

Onze aangeboden Toyota Celica 2000 ST RA28 komt uit 1977. Hij is nieuw geleverd te Sandefjord, Noorwegen. De Toyota heeft tot 1983 gereden en is hierna overdekt en verwarmd in een collectie gekoesterd. 

De vorige eigenaar heeft hem in 2019 overgekocht en deels gerestaureerd. Doordat de auto zo goed bewaard is gebleven, is er nooit aan gelast, de carrosserie is in originele staat gebleven.

Een overzicht van de onderdelen en componenten die onder andere vervangen zijn hebben we hieronder voor u op een rijtje gezet:

- Nieuwe pakkingen
- Nieuwe remonderdelen, nieuwe schokbrekers & banden
- Nieuwe veren, wiellagers, remslangen, etc.
- Nieuwe voorruit en OEM pakkingen rond ramen en deuren
- Nieuwe bougies, carterpan-pakking, kleppendeksel-pakking, kleppen 
   gecontroleerd & afgesteld
- Hoofdremcilinder gereviseerd
- Nieuwe radiateur en waterpomp

Hiernaast is de auto recent voorzien van een nieuwe APK

Zoals er te lezen is, is er goed gezorgd voor de auto. Dit is ook terug te zien aan de huidige staat van de Celica. De kleur betreft turquoise blauw metallic, welke professioneel gespoten is en nog in zeer goede staat verkeert. 

Het lichtbruine interieur is een combinatie van stof en vinyl. Deze zijn nog origineel! Er zijn diverse meters verspreid over het dashboard die de auto karakter geven. Dit zijn meters voor; toeren, snelheid, benzine, temperatuur, volt en een analoog klok. 

Hiernaast is de auto in bezit van achterruitverwarming. Het interieur verkeert in een nette staat. Onderaan de auto zijn er 14 inch lichtmetalen velgen te vinden. Achterin de auto is er een reservewiel aanwezig.

Onder de motorkap ligt er een 2.0 liter 4-cilinder. Dit motorblok staat bekend als de "18R" motor. Deze is gekoppeld aan een handgeschakelde 5-versnellingsbak. De motor loopt goed en schakelt soepel.

De Japanse klassiekers worden steeds populairder bij verzamelaars en autoliefhebbers!

Uiteraard heeft de Toyota lichte gebruikerssporen opgelopen, zie foto's.
