Onderhand toch wel bijzonder, zo’n Mercedes 190 Diesel uit 1959, uit de beroemde W121 serie. . Dit is zo’n surviver, een leuke auto die inmiddels al weer 65 jaar oud is. Onderweg met zo’n Mercedes zorgt voor heel wat duimpjes omhoog, het is een eyecatcher van jewelste. Voor de volledigheid, dit is een Mercedes 190B Diesel. De B staat voor het B-model uit de W121, onderandere te herkennen aan de knipperlichtstengel aan het stuur, het A model had een draaibare ring die ook als claxon te gebruiken was. Deze 190 B Diesel heeft de toen modernere diesel motor met 5 krukaslagers, en “snelstart” systeem voor het voorgloeien.  

Documenten:
Deze Mercedes werd nieuw geleverd in Duitsland, en kwam in 2023 naar Nederland, hij heeft een Nederlandse registratie en is APK en Wegenbelastingvrij. De auto kan zonder meerprijs met EU Export documenten worden geleverd, zodat een eventuele buitenlandse nieuwe eigenaar de auto gemakkelijk in zijn/haar land kan registreren. Ook leuk: de originele boekjes en documenten zijn (deels) aanwezig, geeft een leuke ondersteuning aan de originaliteit van deze mooie Benz.

Carrosserie:
Deze Ponton heeft een mooie rode kleur, met gebruikssporen. Een goede poetsbeurt zou niet verkeerd zijn. De auto heeft vele tectyl-behandelingen gehad, en is verrassend roest-arm. Ook de onderzijde is in erg nette toestand.

Technisch:
De auto start (na het voorgloeien natuurlijk!) direct, en hangt goed aan het gas. Schakelen gaat prima, natuurlijk met het bekende extra tikje tegen de pook om naar 3+4 versnelling te gaan. Remmen doet ie als de beste. 

Interieur:
Het interieur is overeenkomstig met het uiterlijk, netjes met de nieuwere lederen stoelbekleding en nette deurpanelen. Kleine opmerking de originele rubberen matten zijn niet meer aanwezig. De verkoper heeft veel contacten voor onderdelen, en kan u hierin adviseren.

Transport:
De auto staat in Hengevelde, Nederland en kan hier vanzelfsprekend worden opgehaald. De auto kan tegen meerprijs van 150 euro in Nederland worden bezorgd (excl. De Waddeneilanden)
