In 1998 begon de nieuwe productielijn van BMW. De E46. Dit liep door tot en met 2006. Door deze jaren heen werden er 5 verschillende uitvoeringen uitgebracht. Dit waren de sedan, coupé, touring, compact, en de desbetreffende cabriolet. Je had zowel 4 als 6-cilinder motoren. 

Hierdoor kon het vermogen 143pk zijn, 150pk, en helemaal oplopend tot 231pk. Al deze modellen waren achterwiel aangedreven, wat bij BMW wel een bekend fenomeen was. Je had zowel handgeschakelde als automatische exemplaren. Aan het eind werd de E46 opgevolgd door de E90 en E91 modellen.

Het betreft hier een zeer nette BMW E46 330ci uit 2000. Hij is uitgevoerd in een mooie 'Titan-Silber' metallic lak tegenover grijze 'Leather-Montana' bekleding. Origineel is de cabriolet Duits geleverd, maar zijn leven zette al snel voort in Nederland, toen hij in 2002 voor het eerst op Nederlands kenteken werd geregistreerd.

Deze relatief zeldzame handgeschakelde 330CI is voorzien van gewilde opties zoals;

Deze BMW heeft de laatste 23 jaar slechts 168.094 kilometers gereden. Dit is mooi gedocumenteerd en ook terug te vinden in het teller-rapport. De 4-zitter heeft een windscherm voor betere lucht- & geluidcirculatie. Recent is hij voorzien van nieuwe koplampen voor een betere licht-opbrengst. 

Naast deze kostbare investering is er ook nog een nieuwe zwarte soft-top geplaatst. Dit geeft aan dat de vorige eigenaar een echte liefhebber is. Onderaan de auto zijn er 17 inch multi-spaak velgen te vinden. Achterin de kofferbak bevindt er zich de complete originele tool-kit samen met de krik en het reservewiel.

Onder de motorkap ligt er het sterke M54 motorblok. Deze bestaat uit een 3.0 liter 6-cilinder. Hij produceert 231pk en 300nm koppel. 0-100km/u wordt dan ook afgelegd binnen een indrukwekkende 6,5 seconden, en de topsnelheid ligt op 250 km/u.
