Mercedes Benz W124 500E, der „Wolf im Schafspelz“, von 1991 bis 1995 wurden lediglich knapp 10.500 Stück produziert.
Der hier angebotene 500E wurde in Österreich ausgeliefert und immer dort bewegt (Historie nachvollziehbar). 
Unter anderem besitzt der Wagen Sonderausstattungen wie 
- Schiebedach,
- Tempomat, 
- Klimaautomatik, 
- Elektrische Sitze mit Memory-Funktion auf der Fahrerseite, 
- Sitzheizung
- Heckrollo etc., 
Somit zählt er zu den besser ausgestatteten W124!  

Der Innenraum ist im Zustand dem alter entsprechend gut, das Holz ist etwas abgenutzt und der Klarlack spröde, allerdings ist das Leder in gutem Zustand.

Technisch wurde vor kurzem einiges gemacht. 
- Beispielsweise wurde die Hinterachse ausgebaut, sandgestrahlt und lackiert. 
- Dabei wurden natürlich sämtliche Gummis, Lager und Lenker getauscht. 
- Auch Benzin-, Hydraulik- und Bremsleitungen wurden erneuert
- Sowie die Hydraulik-Stoßdämpfer.
Ein großer Service mit Tausch von Automatikgetriebeöl, Differenzialöl und Motoröl wurde auch durchgeführt.

Alle 4 Original Felgen sowie die Felge des Ersatzrades wurden neu aufbereitet.
Ein Edelstahlauspuff ab Katalysator ist verbaut, die original Auspuffanlage ist vorhanden und liegt dabei. 

2007 hatte der 500E leider einen Crash rechts vorne. Hierbei wurden laut Vorbesitzer Kotflügel, Scheinwerfer, Motorhaube und Stoßstange in diesem Bereich beschädigt. Der damalige Besitzer entschloss sich darauf hin, im Zuge der Reparatur die komplette Karosserie zu entrosten und neu lackieren zu lassen, daher ist die Karosserie bis jetzt nahezu rostfrei! 

Ein Wertgutachten sowie Gutachten über die Historische Erhaltungswürdigkeit ist erstellt worden.
