Dieser 914 mit VW Motor kommt aus Kalifornien und wurde dort vom damaligen Besitzer nach einiger Zeit sonnig gelb lackiert. Der Porsche blieb nicht lange in dieser Farbe und hat nun wieder seinen originalen rot-orangen Farbton erhalten. Der Wagen hat Ende Sommer 2022 eine komplette Motorrevision bekommen. Des Weiteren befindet sich der kompakte Sportwagen in einem gepflegten Zustand und besitzt keine Spuren von Rost oder Korrosion. Nachdem dieser 914 im Dezember 2022 an einen Kunden von uns verkauft wurde, bekamen wir zeitnah auch einen grünen 914/6. Der Kunde entschloss sich spontan um und nahm den grünen 6 Zylinder 914. Nun verkaufen wir wieder im Auftrag des Kunden den orangenen 914/4.

Weltpremiere gab es für den Porsche 914 im Jahre 1969 auf der IAA. Anders als seine großen 911er Brüder, ist die 914 Baureihe mit Heck - Mittelmotoren ausgestattet. Wenn man so will, sind die 914er Modelle also die Vorgänger der heutigen Porsche Cayman Reihe.Die besondere Bauweise eines Heck - Mittelmotors gab es damals lediglich im Rennsport oder bei sehr teuren Kleinserien - Sportwagen wie zum Beispiel dem Ford GT40. Das bei allen 914 enthaltene Targa - Dachteil kann einfach entnommen und unter dem Deckel des hinteren Stauraums verstaut werden. Dennoch bleibt im Fahrzeug genügend Platz für Gepäck, durch den zweiten vorderen Kofferraum vorhanden.

Der 914 ist nach wie vor ein sehr robustes Fahrzeug und auch viele Jahrzehnte nach seiner Markteinführung ist es immer noch ein zuverlässiges sportliches Modell. Durch das besondere Antriebskonzept und die überschaubaren Ausmaße, ist pure Fahrfreude garantiert.
