Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce, im Jahr 1977 gebaut und im Jahr 1978 das erste Mal zugelassen. Seine längste Zeit verbrachte er bis 2017 im sonnigen und trockenen Wüstenstaat Arizona/USA. Das erklärt auch seinen gut erhaltenen Karosseriezustand. Der Verkäufer hat ihn von einem Importeur relativ Rostarm erworben. Ursprünglich wollte der Verkäufer den Wagen nach Umrüstung und Herstellung auf deutsche Verhältnisse seiner Frau schenken. Sie hat sich aber aus persönliche n Gründen dagegen entschieden. Für den Verkäufer selbst ist der Wagen leider etwas zu klein, so blieb der Wagen nur Ersatz-Oldtimer und wurde wenig gefahren. 

Der Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 2000 (Fastback) im Coda Tronca Pininfarina Design wurde in dieser oder ähnlichen Motorisierungen von 1969 bis1983 gebaut und hat bereits das modernere Zweikreis-Bremssystem. Nur die für den amerikanischen Markt gebauten Modelle haben den für bleifreien Kraftstoff geeigneten Motor mit der mechanischen Saugrohreinspritzung SPICA (Società Pompe Iniezione Cassani & Affini) mit Abgasrückführsystem.

Der Motor hat einen Hubraum von 1948 ccm (Modell AR 11541). Die Leistung wird mit 82 KW bei 5500 Umdrehungen ausgewiesen. Die Originalfarbe ist Grün, innen Beige, 5 Gang Schaltgetriebe. Dieses Auto wurde mit dem Einspritzer SPICA System gebaut, welches in diesem Auto wunderbar funktioniert. Mit der guten Beschleunigung lässt sich der Wagen auch in heutigen Verkehrssituationen spritzig fahren. Die Felgen sind die zur Serie passenden Cromodora Campanatura.
Die Innenausstattung ist weitergehend Original inclusive eines passenden Radios. Technisch ist der Wagen top gepflegt und fährt sich wunderbar. Keine ernsthaften Roststellen, kein Lochfrass unter dem Wagen, alle Hohlräume professionell versiegelt (mit Mike Sander's Hohlraumfett).

Es sind zwei Vorbesitzer in Amerika dokumentiert, plus in Deutschland der Verkäufer, das Fahrzeug ist also aus dritter Hand. Der Wagen ist nach dem Import aus den USA in 2017/18 für die Zulassung in Deutschland umgerüstet worden.

In 2017 Arbeiten u.a. am Unterboden, neu versiegelt, neue Hardyscheibe, Öldruckschalter, H-Kennzeichen Abnahme.

In 2018 Windschott und neues Verdeck von Spider Point, Sitz aufpolstern lassen, Batterie Trennschalter, Inspektion.

In 2019 erfolgte eine komplette Hohlraum Versiegelung, die amerikanischen Stoßstangen wurden original Alfa-Herz Optik und Chromstoßstangen zurückgebaut, große Inspektion, Classic Data Zustand 1-.

In 2020 Öl, Kerzen Stecker Benzin Filter etc. Motor zerlegt und gereinigt, Getriebe ebenfalls.

In 2021 Kurbelwelle Pleuelstangen und Zündmodul neu, Optimierungen und neue Benzinpumpe.

In 2022 neue Reifen 185/70 R14 88T Uniroyal RainExpert, Thermostat und Inspektion.

In 2023 Benzin-Förderpumpe und Zündkerzen neu, große Inspektion.

in 2024 TüV Hauptuntersuchung neu.

Der Verkäufer hat nachweislich über die Jahre sehr viel mehr Geld investiert, als heute für das Auto erzielt werden kann.
