Restored Mercedes 280GE cabrio. Originally delivered in Germany. I purchased it in the Netherlands. It is an original cabrio, not a conversion, and a Mercedes, not a Puch. With homologated 5 seats. 2.8 liter inline 6-cylinder petrol engine, manual transmission. With cancelled Dutch papers and cancelled Swiss papers. The car underwent a body-off restoration: Frame powdercoated, new Bilstein shocks, new brake system, new exhaust, engine overhaul, body was treated and repainted, new lights, side-mirrors, new soft top, etc. The white paint is very nice and the body panels align correctly. The wheels and tyres are in fine condition as is the black soft top. The interior is fine but could use a bit of freshening up. The car has its original engine and is matching numbers, the VIN chassis was restamped by the Netherlands Vehicle Authority (RDW) as the original VIN was almost illegible. Mechanically the car works great. It comes with a set of summer and winter tires.
