Questa rara Citroen DS 23 IE Pallas cinque marce è stata distribuita da nuova il 27-08-1975 in Germania come riportato sul suo libretto dei servizi, ancora presente sulla vettura nel Maggio del 1978 aveva percorso circa 60.000 km con il suo primo proprietario che l'ha sempre sottoposta a tagliandi regolari. Non sono conosciuti ulteriori dettagli specifici ma ad un certo punto la vettura viene dipinta in un colore personalizzato e molto attraente Verde Scuro molto indicato con la tappezzeria interna e dotata di un tetto apribile aftermark Webasto l'ultimo proprietario tedesco della vettura ipotizza che sia stato già il primo proprietario a dotare la vettura con questa livrea personalizzata. 

Dal 2008 la vettura viene registrata in Italia e sino a pochi anni fa  parte di una buona collezione Citroen che vanta tutta la gamma dell'epoca esclusivamente Iniezione, nel corso degli anni viene sottoposta a molteplici interventi di manutenzione ordinaria ma nulla di eccessivo.

Oggi la vettura si presenta in ottime condizioni meccaniche, tutta la parte LHM è stata revisionata sostituendo accumulatori di pressione ammortizzatori e la scatola sterzo, ciò accoppiato al cambio cinque marce rende questa potente Citroen Iniezione molto affidabile e divertente da usare, gli interni in tessuto verde sono stati rifatti nel 2008 ma è stata mantenuta la moquette originale il tutto ha un aspetto molto pulito e armonioso.

La carrozzeria presenta qualche difetto come evidenziato dalle fotografie nel cofano baule  e una piccola ammaccatura nella parte porta passeggero destra, questi sono dei lavori da facile ripristino ma che donano una patina vissuta a questa vettura che potrebbe essere utilizzata ogni giorno con facile disinvoltura a differenza di una vettura completamente restaurata. 

Rimane il fatto che questa è una occasione molto rara per acquistare il canto del cigno della produzione DS essendo questa una delle ultime 300 prodotte nella configurazione più collezionabile e entusiasmante da guidare, con il suo libretto service da nuova il suo certificato di rilevanza storica ASI.
