Heel af en toe loop je met wat geluk tegen dergelijke pareltjes aan. 

Deze originele Volvo PV 544 uit 1958 is van het allereerste type uit de 544 serie, en is daarmee de opvolger van de beroemde 444 serie, met talloze verbeteringen en motoriseringen. Deze mooie PV rijdt prima, start direct, schakelt goed en remt ook prima. Dit is echt zo’n oldtimer waar je direct mee kan gaan rijden. De kleur is Volvo 31, midnight blue. Een van de mooiste kleuren voor een Volvo PV ! 

Documenten:
De auto heeft een afgemelde Zweedse registratie, en kan met de aanwezige papieren gemakkelijk elders worden geregistreerd. De auto heeft altijd in Zweden doorgebracht, en is enkele weken geleden naar Nederland gekomen, de auto is tot voor kort voor recreatieve doeleinden gebruikt. De auto was sinds 2019 bij de laatste eigenaar, daarvoor was hij vanaf 2004-2019 bij de voorlaatste eigenaar.
 
Carrosserie:
De onderzijde van is slechts gering aangepakt, meer was niet nodig. Het lakwerk is bijzonder mooi, met zeer geringe gebruikerssporen. Echt een plaatje, zeker wanneer men beseft dat de auto al 66 jaar oud is (!)

Technisch:
De laatste eigenaar heeft de auto ook technisch altijd netjes bijgehouden. De auto is de laatste jaren alleen bij erg mooi weer gebruikt. Toen hij in 2019 de auto overnam, heeft hij deze geüpgraded met een 4-versnellingsbak M4 (dit is het type 4 versnellingsbak dat in de laatste 544 modellen werd gebruikt, vanaf 1961) en een elektronisch 123-ontstekingssysteem en schijfremmen voor. Hij heeft de velgen gespoten en nieuwe banden gemonteerd. Een nieuwe brandstoftank en vlotter met signaalgever werden geplaatst vanwege vuil/roest in de oude. De PV heeft ook een roestwerende behandeling ondergaan

Interieur:
Het interieur ziet er geweldig mooi uit, want in 2019 kreeg de auto ook een nieuwe hemelbekleding, nieuwe stoffen strips rond de deuren en een nieuwe hoedenplank. De PV kreeg ook de juiste originele stoelen, achterbank en deurpanelen, allemaal in goede gebruikte staat

Leuk om te weten:
De verkoper heeft veel contacten in binnen en buitenland, en kan u adviseren in de onderdeel voorziening. Niet dat het nu nodig is, maar altijd handig om te weten.

Transport:
De auto staat in Hengevelde, Nederland en kan hier vanzelfsprekend worden opgehaald. De auto kan tegen meerprijs van 150 euro in Nederland worden bezorgd (excl. De Waddeneilanden)
