Te koop op veiling: Austin Healey 100/4 BN2 Le Mans - Een zeldzame kans voor liefhebbers en verzamelaars!

Bent u op zoek naar een zeldzame klassieker met een rijke racehistorie? Deze Austin Healey 100/4 BN2, gebouwd op 8 december 1955, is een uitzonderlijke vondst voor de ware autoliefhebber. Volledig gerestaureerd naar Le Mans-specificaties en in originele kleuren, zoals bevestigd door het 'Heritage Certificate': Old English White met een prachtig rood interieur.

Carrosserie en Lakwerk
Deze BN2 heeft een volledige body-off restauratie ondergaan, waarbij originele onderdelen zorgvuldig zijn behouden. De carrosserie is recent opnieuw gespoten en verkeert in een goede staat.

Technische details
De motor is volledig gereviseerd en uitgerust met de beroemde Le Mans-motormodificaties, waaronder een snellere nokkenas, platte hoge compressie zuigers, H6 carburateurs 
 en een cold-air box. Het resultaat? Een krachtige 2.660 cc viercilinder motor die een uitzonderlijke rijervaring biedt. De auto rijdt en remt beter dan nieuw en belooft indrukwekkende prestaties.

Interieur
Het interieur is volledig vernieuwd in de originele rode bekleding en wordt geleverd met zowel een tonneau cover als een softtop. Hoewel er lichte gebruikssporen op de tonneau cover zijn door contact met de stoel, blijft het geheel authentiek en stijlvol.

Documenten en historie
Deze Austin Healey heeft een Nederlands kenteken en is direct klaar voor de weg. Alle facturen van de restauratie, inclusief de gekochte onderdelen bij Dennis Welch en Healey Parts, worden meegeleverd. De restauratie is in begin 2024 voltooid, met als doel de auto zo origineel mogelijk te herstellen. De auto heeft slechts enkele shake-down kilometers op de teller en wordt geleverd met een BMIHT-certificaat.

De auto werd in 1996 als een 'barn-find' vanuit de Verenigde Staten naar Nederland geïmporteerd, waarna de uitgebreide restauratie begon.
