Maserati Quattroporte Serie 3 - 1985

Sinds oktober 2020 ben ik de trotse eigenaar van deze mooie Maserati QP III die op 22 februari 1985 (met de hand) is gefabriceerd in de Maserati fabriek te Modena, Italië. De auto is uitgevoerd in de lakkleur Grigio Azzurro, grijs met een vleugje azuurblauw. Het weelderige lederen interieur is uitgevoerd in de kleur Cuoio Naturale, cognacbruin. Onderstaande beschrijving kenmerkt deze Maserati.

Carrosserie/Lakwerk: 

De carrosserie is in goede staat. Er is geen sprake van roest. De carrosseriedelen aan de onderzijde van de auto zijn behandeld met een zwarte tectyl. Er bestaat een lichte schade aan de linker zijde van de grill en de kunststof kap rond de rechter buitenste koplamp heeft een scheurtje. De vele chromen delen rondom de wagen zijn in onbeschadigde conditie. Aan de onderzijde zijn enkele onschuldige contactmomenten met (waarschijnlijk) verkeersdrempels zichtbaar. 
Het lakwerk verkeert in zeer goede staat. Rondom is de lak strak. Bij minutieuze inspectie is rechts achter op het dak een randje voelbaar van missende blanke lak. Tot slot is er aan de linker zijde van de benzineklep een minuscuul 'chipje' zichtbaar aan de rand van de klep.

Techniek:

Ten tijde van de aanschaf van de auto door mij in oktober 2020 luidde de conclusie van 'ACS Aankoopkeuring en Advies': "de algehele staat van de auto is erg goed. Aan de techniek is veel gedaan, o.a. Motorsteun rubbers, ophang rubbers, draagarm rubbers. De auto rijdt daardoor ook erg goed." 
Door mij zijn de gasveren van motorklep en kofferdeksel vervangen en is er een originele 'Vitaloni' buitenspiegel gemonteerd. Naast regulier onderhoud is de airco-.installatie hersteld.

In oktober '21 heeft er groot onderhoud plaatsgevonden, waarbij naast vervanging van alle vloeistoffen de schokdempers en veren (voor en achter), remblokken (voor), fuseekogels links en rechts en de bovenste draagarmbussen vervangen door originele Maserati - onderdelen. Vanzelfsprekend zijn de facturen aanwezig. In juni 2024 is er een kleine beurt uitgevoerd, waarbij tevens aircokoppelingen en -slangen plus lager V-snaar en de dynamo (origineel merk en type)  zijn vervangen en nieuwe Michelins XWX 225/70 R15 zijn geplaatst. Ook hier facturen aanwezig. Tot slot zijn een originele, nieuwe set remblokken (achter) en complete  set remcilinders plus 2 x 'repair kits' aanwezig, ingeval op termijn revisie van de remmen geindiceerd is.

De V8 heeft een geweldige rustige loop; je kan spreekwoordelijk een muntje op zijn kant zetten bij stationair draaien. De automatische versnellingsbak (Chrysler, type A-727, 3 versnellingen + R) doet zijn werk naar behoren.

Interieur:

Het interieur verkeert in zeer goede staat. De lederen voorstoelen, achterbank, middenconsole en deurpanelen kennen nauwelijks 'patina'. Alle elektronica (stoelverstelling (6-voudig), ramen, ontgrendeling koffer- en benzineklep, verwarming, airco en schakelaars) werkt zoals het hoort. 
Het ingelegde wortelhoutfineer op het dashboard en middenconsole kent drie imperfecties. Op het lederen stuur is een licht zichtbare verkleuring waarneembaar links van het logo. Het afdichtrubber van het linker achterportier kent een scheur en zit daar los. Afdichtrubbers deuren en kofferklep hebben licht onderhoud nodig.

Documenten:

De originele certificaten (3 stuks) van Maserati Classiche uit Modena zijn aanwezig, die de authenticiteit, de technische en esthetische karakteristieken en de finale testen officieel weergeven. Tevens zijn meerdere 'manuals' (gebruikers handleiding, werkplaats handleiding, elektrisch schema (beschrijving en compleet figuur op A2 formaat), de geschiedenis, diverse facturen en overige relevante informatie, zowel digitaal als in 'hard copy', aanwezig.

Overige informatie:

De auto is op 4 april 1985 geleverd aan Maserati concessionair Auto Course te Toulouse, Frankrijk. Op 23 oktober 1999 is de wagen in het bezit gekomen van een Belgische verzamelaar, die vermoedelijk de vierde eigenaar was. De kilometerstand was toen 45.643 km. Op 2 oktober 2020 is de auto in mijn bezit gekomen via The Gallery te Brummen. De kilometerstand was toen 47.160 km. 
Op 21 oktober 2020 is de Maserati Quattroporte serie III op Nederlands kenteken gezet.
