IN RISALTO
Completata in fabbrica l'8 dicembre 1936, l'auto fu consegnata al suo primo proprietario il 12 gennaio dell'anno successivo. Restaurata a livello professionale nel 1980 circa, l'auto è stata amorevolmente curata e poco usata negli ultimi tempi. Con l’auto è incluso un set di documenti con molte fatture risalenti a quasi 40 anni fa. Vengono forniti anche il CRS ASI, il manuale originale e una notevole quantità di informazioni dal registro Sunbeam Talbot più un libretto RF60 Green risalente al 1963. 
L’auto, mai immatricolata in Italia e usata dall’attuale proprietario sporadicamente per qualche raduno, ha ancora il numero di targa originale BTE420. Presenti anche i bonifici bancari e la fattura di acquisto rilasciata nel giugno 2017 dal dealer inglese Robin Lawton Cars, Hampshire, UK.

STORIA/PANORAMICA
Dopo l'acquisizione della Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq da parte dei fratelli Rootes nel 1935, tra i modelli del 1936 fu inserita la Talbot Ten, disponibile come berlina aerodinamica a due porte, coupé o Sports Toure. La Talbot Ten fu prodotta dal 1936 al 1939 in 2.950 esemplari. Quella qui proposta e' una Sports Tourer, un'elegante auto da turismo a quattro posti  comodi carrozzata da Whittingham & Mitchel. Negli anni '30 Whittingham e Mitchel produsse carrozzerie per grandi marche come Rolls Royce e Railton, ma buona parte del loro fatturato era rappresentato dalla realizzazione di carrozzerie Tourer per Talbot Tens.

ESTERNO
Buone condizioni generali, colore originale blu metallizzato. Riverniciata in epoca precedente in bianco avorio con qualche screpolatura dovuta ai segni del tempo Dotata di ruote a raggi, con capote, finestrini e paratie laterali posteriori in materiale double duck con inserti trasparenti. 
La capote presenta sul lato sinistro un segno di usura dovuto all’attrito con una cinghia di ritenzione durante un trasporto. Finestrini e paratie sono contenuti in un apposito sacco protettivo.

INTERNO
Buone condizioni, gli interni in pelle blu sono ben conservati, i sedili sono stati rinforzati nella struttura sotto il cuscino di seduta. Serrature delle portiere da rivedere nella 
Il cruscotto in legno è dotato di porta oggetti a sinistra e di un unico e particolare strumento ovale con fondo avorio in stile Art Deco che riporta il tachimetro in miglia, la temperatura olio, l'orologio e il livello carburante. Nel cruscotto e' inserito anche un pulsante che comanda una potente tromba, in aggiunta al clacson originale sul piantone dello sterzo. 
Sul piantone sono inseriti anche i comandi di accensione delle luci. La messa in moto è a pomello tirante sulla sinistra del piantone dello sterzo.  

MECCANICA
Telaio numero BE2145. Buone condizioni generali. Gli ammortizzatori originali a compasso sono stati sostituiti con ammortizzatori telescopici che hanno migliorato notevolmente l'assetto e la tenuta di strada. 
Gli originali verranno forniti con l'auto, dotata anche di staccabatterie.

DOCUMENTAZIONE
La vettura è dotata del Certificato di Rilevanza Storica (CRS) rilasciato dall'ASI, del libretto di manutenzione originale e di una notevole quantità di documentazione, tra cui la copia originale dei dati di fabbrica, l'Heritage Certificate, la registrazione allo Sunbeam Talbot Alpine Register (STAR), il V5 Registration Certificate e l'RF60 Log Book datato dal 1965.
