ALGEMEEN:

Deze Ford Mustang Fastback GT350 Tribute uit 1966 is twintig jaar lang in het bezit geweest van dezelfde eigenaar, die de auto gedurende die periode volledig heeft omgebouwd naar GT350-specificaties. Daarbij is niet alleen aandacht besteed aan het uiterlijk, maar zeker ook aan de techniek. De Mustang heeft een Nederlands kenteken en het volledige restauratieverslag is aanwezig en wordt meegeleverd met de auto.

CARROSSERIE & LAKWERK:

De carrosserie van de Mustang is strak, met goede pasvormen, en staat zeer netjes in de lak. De originele vloeren zijn nog aanwezig en verkeren in goede staat, wat ook duidelijk te zien is in het restauratieverslag en op de foto's, waarop de originele puntlassen goed zichtbaar zijn. De onderzijde van de auto is intact gelaten zoals hij is na twintig jaar gebruik. Deze is nog steeds erg mooi, al zijn er uiteraard gebruikssporen zichtbaar. Het is aan de volgende eigenaar om dit eventueel te verfrissen of in originele staat te behouden.

TECHNISCH:

De auto is voorzien van een 289 K-code High Performance V8-motor met een vermogen van circa 300 pk. De motor is ongeveer 22.000 mijl geleden volledig gereviseerd. Hij is uitgerust met een dubbele contactpuntontsteking en originele GT350 Shelby klepdeksels. De aandrijving is gekoppeld aan een gereviseerde Top Loader vierversnellingsbak. Verder is de Mustang voorzien van een zwaardere swaybar voor betere wegligging. De brandstoftank is vervangen door een nieuwe met de juiste vultrechter zoals het hoort bij de GT-modellen. Ook de toerenteller en radio-afdekplaat zijn originele Shelby-onderdelen.

INTERIEUR:

Het interieur is smetteloos en origineel uitgevoerd. De achterbank is zeer netjes en ligt onder een zeil, geheel in lijn met hoe dat in een originele GT uitgevoerd zou zijn. Het reservewiel is aanwezig en ligt op zijn plek met de originele montage. Al met al verkeert het interieur in uitzonderlijk goede staat.

DOCUMENTEN:

De auto beschikt over een geldig Nederlands kenteken. Het bijbehorende restauratieverslag, inclusief foto’s van onder andere de originele vloeren, wordt meegeleverd. Daarnaast is er een officieel taxatierapport beschikbaar, met een getaxeerde waarde van €75.000.

AFHALING:

Er zijn geen specifieke details over afhaling vermeld in de oorspronkelijke tekst. Eventuele bezichtiging of transport kan in overleg plaatsvinden.

Deze Mustang is met veel zorg opgebouwd tot een waarheidsgetrouwe GT350 Tribute, met oog voor originele Shelby-details en technische verfijning.
