Federico Alibrio - Inner abyss
"Inner Abyss" by Federico Alibrio is presented as a work that transcends the mere representation of the whale, encapsulating in it a profound symbolism. The whale, iconically majestic and fascinating, is often seen as a sacred entity, a symbol of ancient wisdom and infinite creativity.
The artist manages to evoke not only the aesthetics of this oceanic creature but also its spiritual essence. The choice of glazed terracotta gives the sculpture an organic texture, evoking the idea of a connection to the earth and, simultaneously, to the oceanic depths that the whale represents.
This duality is crucial: the whale as a symbol of the principle of creation invites viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of all forms of life and interspecies communication. The work becomes a vehicle for introspection, inviting exploration of our relationship with nature and the importance of listening to the often silent voices of the natural world.
The meaning of "Inner Abyss" goes beyond the physical object, serving as a portal to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the cycle of life. Through this sculpture, Alibrio invites us to explore the beauty and complexity of existence, stimulating an emotional and spiritual connection with art and the world around us.
The whale is depicted swimming and designed to be hung on the wall, but this does not exclude the possibility of it being placed on a flat surface as well. There is a hole on the back that allows it to be hung on the wall.
The work will be shipped with careful packaging and a certificate of authenticity.
