A well designed iconic example of 1950s American design. Without a doubt a very neat decorative, multifunctional "schooldesk". The industrial inspired characteristic design elevates this desk far above the ordinary. Just the ergonomical features are impressive for the 1950s.

This ' child ready' robust, comfortable and safe school table with chair has been manufactured by the American Seating Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, through the 1940s and 1950s.
This desk is eminently suitable for children in the primary school age, from about 4 to 11 year old. Ideal for homeschooling, playing, cooking, eating, homework, puzzles, drawing, doing crafts or simply as a decoration. In fine vintage condition.  By the way, these desks could be seena.o. in the film Marmaduke .
