Jaguar XK150 DHC 1959.

Jaguar won in de jaren 50 Le Mans 5 keer niet alleen door deze motor maar vooral door de remmen , zij waren het eerst met schijfremmen.
XK150 staat voor 150 mijl wel 240 km per uur!
Zeer snel voor die tijd en baanbrekend.

Deze prachtige XK is nog in originele ongerestaureerde staat met prachtig patina en gebruikssporen . Steeds meer worden ongerestaureerde onverprutste oldtimers gewaardeerd ipv ze te restaureren waarbij meestal veel originaliteit verdwijnt. Deze is uniek in zijn soort de meeste XKs zijn gerestaureerd vind maar is een orginele zoals deze.

Deze heeft een logboek van de eigenaar in San Fransisco waar veel historie van het onderhoud instaat zo heeft de motor in 1979 een revisie ondergaan. De km stand is dan ook vanaf dat moment.  Weinig dus (52009)Ook is er recent een compressietest gedaan (zie de fotos voor het resultaat)

De Jaguar Is al een poos in Nederland en is goed onderhouden rijdt en schakelt prima ook de overdrive is goed .

De motor loopt stil zonder bijgeluiden , de remmen zijn recent gereviseerd ook heeft de Jaguar schijfremmen rondom met nieuwe Blockley vintage banden .
Ook de klokken zijn niet lang geleden gereviseerd.

Verder zijn de stoelen en bekleding cabriokap allemaal nog origineel.

De carrosserie is in hele goede staat zonder schade of roest ( Californische klimaat ). Alleen wat kleine krasjes en aan de voorkant wat steenslag . kortom mooi patina maar geen roest.

De Jaguar is origineel Creme en is in een verleden aan de buitenkant een keer overgespoten, het lakwerk heeft mooi patina , en steenslagsporen.
De onderkant is mooi origineel met een goed recht chassis.

Ook de koffer is onaangeroerd , kale plekken zijn behandeld met Owatrol.
De spaakvelgen zijn recentelijk behandeld en zwart afgelakt.Ook is er een set spaakwielen met Firestone banden en whitewalls.
Er is dus een taxatierapport, Heritage certificaat en een logboek aanwezig.

Kortom een geweldige Jaguar die zeer betrouwbaar is en een lust is om in te rijden.

Het is raadzaam het voertuig eerst te bekijken alvorens te bieden om teleurstellingen te voorkomen.
