Early 1936 Mercedes Benz 170V W136. 
 
Restored.  
Odometer reading: 28 km since the restoration.
Color: green.  
Interior color: beige.

This Vehicle comes from Bulgaria and is now in Belgium.  The Mercedes has only been driven 28 kilometers for fine tuning and testing after restoration.

Work that has been carried out:

Body:

Complete cleaning, repairing priming and painting.  Replacement of damaged parts with new ones.
Front axel : replacement of all bearings, seals, new brake cilinders and brake pads.
New master brake cilinder.  Replacement of all brake lines with new ones.
All chrome elements are renovated.
All new exhaust.  Repair of radiator.
All new tires, also spare wheel.

Engine and electric system:

Complete disassembly, cleaning, replacing worn out parts, new seals, painting, etc.
Engine runs beautifully now.
Electric system has been converted to 12 Volt, makes it more reliable.
New cabling of full electric system. New battery and battery disconnect switch.
New 12 Volt alternator and starter.  New ignition system.

Interior:

New leather seat covers, front and back.  New leather door panels.  Color beige.
New carpet, color beige.
New head liner, color beige.
Dashboard en instruments cluster has been overhauled to factory new standards.
The spare leather and upholstery material that I have will be delivered.

Areas of possible improvement:

Gearbox has not been overhauled.  Is functional but could be improved.
Rear axle (swing axle) has not been overhauled, only the boots have been replaced by new ones.  Small oil leak.

Paperwork:

Certificate of registration is lost.  
Mercedes Benz has delivered a certificate (data card) of the vehicle.
Purchase invoice from Bulgaria and transport documents are available.

General:

The Mercedes Benz 170V has been presented in Berlin to the world public in February 1936.  It was an extremely modern vehicle in the upper medium class.  Driving comfort, downsizing and lightweight construction are just some of the features of this car.  The 170V was in fact the only Mercedes Benz to have been revived even after the end of the Second World War.  This is an early highly original 170V.
