Dieser Bronze Altar oder Urhoto wurde ursprünglich auf einem Ahnenaltar aufgestellt, der den Herrscher (Oba) des Königreichs Benin gewidmet war. Er nimmt einen wichtigen Platz in der politischen Hierarchie des Hofes von Benin ein Indem sie die Gesundheit und das Wohlergehen der Oba's, soll die Bronze die Sicherheit und den Wohlstand des gesamten Königreichs zu gewährleisten.
Dieses Urhoto besteht aus sechs Figuren auf einem rechteckigen Sockel. Auf den Seiten des Sockels ist ein Flechtmuster. Oben ist der Oba umgeben von einer Gruppe von zwei Krieger, zwei Diener und ein Hornbläser. 
Replika des 18. Jahrhunderts.
In der verlorenen Form hergestellt, aufwendiges Wachs-Ausschmelzverfahren.
