Traditionele Balinese set – 3 houtsnijmaskers en 1 marionetpop (Burma).

Decoratieve en karaktervolle set bestaande uit drie handgesneden houten maskers en één rijkelijk versierde marionet uit Bali. 
De stukken tonen duidelijke ouderdomssporen en zijn traditioneel vervaardigd met veel oog voor detail.

Twee Balinese Barong-maskers, elk met uitgesproken expressies, bolle ogen, grote tanden, beschildering in rood, wit, zwart en goud, stoffen tongen versierd met gespiegelde decoratie.

Let op: bij het rechter masker ontbreken beide oren en is sprake van verfverlies en beschadigingen (zie foto's).

Eén groot ceremonieel masker, eveneens Balinees, met demonisch gezicht, zwarte basis, versleten rode accenten, beschadigde tandpartijen en slijtplekken.

Eén traditionele marionetpop met verfijnd beschilderd houten gezicht, vergulde kroon met steentjes, en rijk geborduurde kleding met kralen, lovertjes en glazen cabochons. Inclusief originele touwbediening.

Deze voorwerpen werden traditioneel gebruikt in dansrituelen (maskers) en poppentheater (marionet) en vertegenwoordigen het spirituele en theatrale erfgoed van Bali.

Conditie:
Algemene staat: redelijke tot matige vintage conditie
Maskers: duidelijke gebruikssporen, verfslijtage, gebroken/ontbrekende elementen (o.a. oren en tanden), structurele ouderdom (zie detailfoto's)
Marionet: gedragen maar compleet, deels versleten decoratie, touwen deels verstrengeld

Hoogte: 28,5 cm en 21,5 cm en 21,5 cm.
Breedte: 24 cm en 28 cm en 17 cm.
Diepte: 9 cm en 10 cm en 9 cm.
Gewicht: 860 gram en 400 gram en 300 gram.

Marionet:
Hoogte: 35 cm (exclusief touw).
Breedte: 14 cm.
Gewicht: 500 gram.

De kavel wordt zorgvuldig verpakt en aangetekend, verzekerd verzonden met een track-en-tracé-nummer.
