Vloerlamp Colombo is in 1970 ontworpen door Joe Colombo voor het Italiaanse Oluce. Deze lamp is in feite één van de eerste lampen voor huishoudelijk gebruik die halogeenlicht ging gebruiken.

Ook in halve opstelling te gebruiken, zie laatste foto. Dan is de lamp ongeveer 1 meter hoog.

Colombo is vervaardigd van gelakt staal en aluminium.

De lamp is in goede staat, er ontbreekt 1 schroefje onder de kap. De linker zwarte knop die gelukkig geen bediening regelt zit wat speling op. De lamp heeft de tand des tijds heel goed doorstaan en is een aanwinst voor ieder interieur.

Oluce is een van de grotere designlabels uit Italië welke zich focust op het creëren van unieke designlampen. Het merk is in 1945 opgericht door de Italiaan Guiseppe Ostuni en is daardoor een van de oudste Italiaanse designlabels op het gebied van lampen. Het merk weet met haar ontwerpen een goede combinatie te vinden tussen luxe en design. De collectie van Oluce bevat meer dan een designklassiekers, waarvan de Atollo serie van Vico Magistretti de bekendste is. Voor haar lampen heeft het merk ook al meerdere keren belangrijke prijzen zoals de Compasso d’Oro mogen ontvangen.
