Item Description
This is a vintage bowl-back mandolin, Model M-215, crafted by the renowned Japanese maker Suzuki Violin Co., Ltd. The instrument features a classic teardrop shape with a beautifully arched, multi-ribbed back, a spruce top, and ornate wood inlays around the soundhole. It produces a warm, resonant tone, ideal for classical mandolin repertoire.
The instrument is in overall good condition for its age. However, please note that 4 of the 8 strings (the central four) show signs of rust and will need to be replaced. To assist with this, 8 brand-new Paramount Calace mandolin strings are included with the lot. Two picks are also included.

It comes in its original vintage hard-shell case with plush yellow lining. The case is equipped with metal latches and a lock mechanism, although the key is missing. The case shows signs of wear consistent with age but functions well and offers solid protection.
