Elegante lampada da tavolo con base scultorea in terracotta raffigurante due figure femminili nude, opera del noto scultore e ceramista Mario Bandini, realizzata per la rinomata manifattura Vezzani di Firenze negli anni ’50.
L’opera, pezzo unico poiché modellata a mano, mostra la tipica sensibilità plastica dell’artista, con linee morbide e modellato ricercato, che esalta la materia calda della terracotta.

Materiale: Terracotta modellata a mano e cotta

Mario Bandini (Firenze 1908 – 1979) è stato un scultore italiano. Allievo di Libero Andreotti, a partire dalla seconda metà degli anni Trenta inizia una collaborazione con la manifattura ceramica fiorentina “Zaccagnini”, realizzando numerosi modelli plastici. Tra questi, una numerosa serie di personaggi disneyani. Dal 1955, infatti, la Disney affidò alla Zaccagnini la realizzazione in ceramica dei personaggi dei suoi cartoni animati e fu proprio Mario Bandini a modellare molte di essi, tra cui i nani del celebre cartone “Biancaneve e i sette nani”. Bandini è stato anche pittore.
