Zeer fraaie en nette Mini Marcos MK4 van 1975. Deze Mini Marcos is in 1974/1975 in Nederland gebouwd, en is altijd in Nederland in handen geweest van ware Marcos liefhebbers. Op onderhoud is dan ook niet bezuinigd.

CARROSSERIE & LAKWERK: 

Zoals de foto's duidelijk laten zien betreft dit nog steeds een zeer nette Marcos.Vanaf nieuw in mooi signal red gespoten. De body is na al die jaren nog steeds in zeer nette staat. Natuurlijk in het verleden al eens opnieuw gespoten. Op o.a. het dakraam-rubber zit hierdoor wat overspray. Natuurlijk na alle jaren wel her en der een beschadiging, wat blaasjes en craquelé. Zie hiervoor de foto’s. Over het algemeen is de body echt nog netjes, met een mooie glanzende lak. De carrosserie is voorzien van afsluitbare motorkap en kofferklep, dit door middel van gemonteerde slotjes. Natuurlijk zijn ook de portieren afsluitbaar. Van de sleutels zijn 2 sets bij de auto. Het in de jaren 70 al gemonteerde open dak is functioneel. De schuifraampjes in de portieren zijn van plexiglas. Bij de Marcos zijn nog 2 extra kunststof spatbord verbreeders die eventueel vooraan kunnen worden gemonteerd.  

TECHNIEK:

Voor de techniek van deze Mini Marcos is vanzelfsprekend gebruikt gemaakt van de onderdelen van een classic Mini. Qua onderstel zijn de stalen subframes voor en achter van een Mini, deze verkeren in goede staat. Natuurlijk is de Marcos voorzien van een 1275GT motor, met dubbele su carburateurs, elektronische ontsteking, siliconen slangen, etc. In 2019 nog voorzien van een compleet nieuwe koppeling. Bij de opbouw is er een uren registratieteller ingebouwd voor de motor. Deze heeft nu 801 uren gelopen. De motor geeft een mooi geluid door de dikke uitlaatpijp, start mooi, goede oliedruk, trekt goed, zoals het bij een getunede 1275 hoort. De versnellingsbak schakelt strak, koppeling werkt goed, en stuurt erg strak. Zoals het ook bij een “mini motor” hoort, ligt er wel eens een druppel onder. Koeling is goed in orde, met extra elektrische koelfan. De elektra is voorzien van een massaslot om het volledige circuit uit te zetten. In het dashboard vindt u oliedruk, olietemperatuur, koelwatertemperatuur, ampères, benzinemeter, instelbare toerenteller, etc. De remmen zijn vooraan 10 inch remschijven, achteraan aluminium remtrommels met koelribben. Het geheel staat van origine op 10 inch velgen. Op dit moment zijn er mooie 10 inch GB velgen gemonteerd met nog goede Falken banden. Bij de Marcos zijn nog extra de originele 10 inch stalen velgen voor bijvoorbeeld langdurige stalling, een extra lichtmetalen GB velg als reserve.

INTERIEUR:

Het interieur is volledig uitgevoerd in zwart rood. Als laatste aanpassing/verbetering zijn recente kuipstoelen in de kleurstelling van de auto gemonteerd. Deze voorzien van 4 puntsgordels van het merk Brittax. Het dashboard en de binnenbekleding is uitgevoerd in zwart skai. Tevens is er een op maat zelfgemaakte achterbank aanwezig die nu niet gemonteerd is. In het interieur is er naast de massaschakelaar voor de veiligheid ook nog een brandblusser aan boord.

OVERIGE INFORMATIE:

Bij de registratie is uiteindelijk gekozen voor een registratie als zijn Coach 1275, merk: Eigenbouw. Dit neemt niet weg dat we het hier echt over een Mini Marcos MK4 hebben, blijkens zelfs uit het tijdelijke afgegeven kenteken voor de registratie in Nederland. Zie hiervoor de foto; T-68-04. En natuurlijk het gemonteerde typeplaatje van Marcos. Het Nederlandse kenteken is volledig compleet en overdraagbaar of te exporteren. Tevens is de Marcos nog voorzien van een geldige Nederlandse keuring (APK). Zelfs alle belasting vignetten vanaf 1975 zijn bij de Marcos.

Wat deze Mini Marcos nog meer bijzonder maakt is dat vanaf dag 1 de hele historie aanwezig is. Van de facturen van aankoop, de onderdelen tot en met foto's van de opbouw, de spuiterij, de kenteken-afgifte, Marcos meetings, vakanties, etc. Qua facturen zijn er 3 mappen met alles bij de auto. Daarnaast diverse jaargangen van het Marcos clubblad, waarin u deze Mini Marcos ongetwijfeld tegenkomt.
