1989 Zagato Milanina electric car with automatic transmission, yellow, 20 HP, 323 km, matching colours and numbers, located in Italy with Italian registration papers.
Description from the seller
In the mid-1960s, two visionaries, the Marquis Bargagli and Narciso Cristiani, conceived a totally innovative form of urban mobility. Zagato noticed the Urbanina on display at the Turin Salon and was struck by it. When the Milan Fair asked Zagato to set up the cars, electric of course, to serve as service vehicles for the International Milan Fair of 1972, Elio Zagato turned to Poggio Adorno to purchase mechanicals and chassis on which to build his own fiberglass-bodied body. The Urbanines with fiberglass bodies built by Zagato were called “Milanine.” Today they are extremely rare.
Externally the car presents itself in excellent preservation. The yellow and blue colors are those with which the car circulated inside the Milan Fair. Moreover, this is the only known specimen to have preserved its original plates. The doors open fully to the limit and open and close well. The bodywork does not require intervention. It is a preserved piece and it is beautiful as it is.
Mechanically the car requires a complete reactivation. The car comes with its original charger but has not been started by us due to the peculiarities of the vehicle; however, being equipped with all the original components with which it left the factory, it is possible to operate it.
Internally the car shows what it was born to be. Two seats and a decent boot, headlights and instrument panel. All electrical components are original and have never been touched or replaced. Plastic seats and rubber floor mats to emphasize the concept of essentiality for which it was designed.
Electric vehicle.
• First registration plate.
• First owner: Milan Fair.
• Running and functional but needs to be restarted as it has been stopped for several years
• Sold without periodic revision due to its particular characteristics.
Documents for transfer
The car is located in Rome. Possibility of transport within Italy and Europe by car carrier (price to be agreed).
Contact Catawiki to view the car or to request videos of the car in motion.
Additional expenses are expected (about 250 euros) for export costs

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
