Formule Renault Martini 1973

De voorlaatst gebouwde Martini MK11 waarvan slechts 25 gebouwd. 

De wagen werd nieuw verkocht in 1973 aan Vacheron.

In 1984 kocht Bruno B. deze auto en won in de Bourgogne Franche Comté League bijna alle wedstrijden in 1987 en 1988.

In 1995 Stond deze auto te koop in een verkoopshuis vlakbij het circuit van Magny-Cours. 

Deze auto heeft jaren lang in het privé museum van Adrien Maeght, musée de l'automobiliste Mougins (Alpes Maritimes, FR) gestaan.

In februari 2009 kocht Antoine Morel (MD Rallye sport) en verkocht de auto aan mijn in december 2016.


Automobiles Martini
Automobiles Martini is een Franse fabrikant van Formule-racewagens , opgericht door Renato "Tico" Martini in 1965, samen met zijn partner Bill Knight. 
Tico Martini ontwierp en bouwde chassis in Magny-Cours voor Formule Renault, F3 , F2 en zelfs F1.  De auto's heten "MK" wat staat voor "Martini-Knight", naar de gebroeders Knight, die in Magny-Cours de Winfield-rijschool oprichtten. Daaruit ontstond een hele generatie jonge autosporttalenten, zoals René Arnoux, Alain Prost enz. Dit soort wagens reden meestal in het voorprogramma van de F1 en F2. Dit was de ideale opstap naar de F2 en F1.
Ze zijn vooral bekend om hun succesvolle prestaties in de Formule 3 en Formule Renault in de jaren 70 en 80. Automobiles Martini staat ook bekend van zijn 9 Grand-Prix deelnames in het Formule 1-seizoen van 1978 met een MK23-chassis, waarmee René Arnoux (later coureur voor Renault en Ferrari ) zijn debuut maakte in de Formule 1. René Arnoux was tevens de winnaar van het Europees Formule Renault kampioenschap in 1973. Alain Prost gebruikte ook een Renault aangedreven Martini om het Franse Formule 3-kampioenschap van 1978 en 1979 te winnen en werd later 4x wereld kampioen in de F1.

Adrien Maeght
Deze Formule Renault Martini heeft jaren in het musée de l'automobiliste Mougins (Alpes Maritimes, FR) gestaan. De eigenaar van het privé museum: Adrien Maeght een beroemde kunstliefhebber bekend van onder meer Galerie Maeght, Aimé Maeght Foundation in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, autoverzamelaar maar ook racepiloot. Na zijn race-carrier had hij een zeker wrok naar de autosport en richtte  zijn museum op. En bouwde zijn collectie uit. Omdat Adrien geraced had met een 4CV Gordini in de jaren 50, heeft hij een zekere voorkeur voor Gordini's. Zo is ondermeer deze Formule Renault met een Gordini motor en andere Gordini's in zijn museum terecht gekomen. In het museum stonden een honderdtal exclusive auto's. Hij besloot het museum te sluiten eind 2008 na 3 miljoen bezoekers. Zo kwam deze Formule Renault en andere pronkstukken uit het museum openbaar te koop in februari 2009 bij Hotel Des Ventes Nice Riviera.

MD Rallye Sport
Zo werd Antoine Morel in 2009 eigenaar van deze auto. In 2003 Richte hij het MD team op en prepareerde 10 motoren en quad's voor de PARIS-DAKAR Rally. In 2005 won Antoine Morel de Dakar rally in de categorie quad. Nadien begon het team zijn eigen raceauto's (4x4 buggy's) te bouwen. 
Zijn Buggy's onderscheidde zich door in 2019 de Africa Eco Race en de Morocco Desert Challenge te winnen. MD Rallye Sport van Antoine morel staat hoog aangeschreven in de Dakar en off-road discipline. De Formule Renault is bij deze eigenaar ook weer in de juiste handen weest. Waar ik hem kocht in december 2016. 

In 2018 is de motor volledig gereviseerd en herbouwd. De onderdelen die in de motor zitten zijn meer dan 8.000 euro waard. De 2 Weber carburateurs + elektronische ontsteking zijn correct afgesteld door professionele op de rollen testbank. 140 PK en 175 NM met grafiek voor ongeveer 430kg. Het remsysteem is volledig in orde, de hoofdremcilinders zijn vernieuwd en de remballans is correct geregeld. Er zitten ook nieuwe Mintex Racing remblokken op. Nieuwe batterij in 2023, enz.
Sinds de motorrevisie in 2018 heb ik er slechts 5x mee gereden bij de CRAC Belgium: 2018 Mettet, 2019 Zolder en Chambley, 2023 Chenvierès GT Legends en 2025 Chenvierès GT Legends.

Zoals op de foto's te zien, loopt het koelsysteeem (koelvloeistof) door het chassis. Dit wil zeggen dat het chassis in zeer goede conditie verkeerd. 

CRAC Belgium
Deze club richt zich tot eigenaars van voertuigen, gentleman drivers en iedereen met een passie voor historische motorsport die gezellige momenten wenst te delen met alle deelnemers. Om haar missie te vervullen, organiseert CRAC Belgium rijdagen in België en/of in het buitenland (Mettet, Zolder, Spa-francorchamps, Croix en ternois, Chambley, enz). Dit is een leuke groep waar je met je formule wagens terecht kan om track-days te rijden op circuit. Zo heb je de kans om tussen allemaal formule wagens met je eigen formule auto te rijden, en het is geen competitie.

Voor wie competitie wil rijden met deze Martini kan je in verschillende kampioenschappen terecht zoals: HMR Historic Monoposto Racing, DNRT vrije formule klasse, HVM racing FRenault Historic & Classic, enz.

Carrosserie en lak: De lak is in goede staat, de auto heeft normale gebruikssporen. Voor de concours d'elegance liefhebbers heeft de carrosserie nog wat aandacht nodig.

Technische staat: Zoals eerder vermeld is de motor helemaal vernieuwd in 2018, Renault vernelingbak werkt goed (5 versnellingen). Het remsysteem is in zeer goede staat en de uitlijning is ook op punt gesteld. 

Staat van het interieur: Goede en originele staat, de Willans gordels dateren van 1995 en het stuurwiel vertoont ouderdom bovenaan. Ook is het origineel identificatieplaatjes aanwezig op het chassis in de cockpit. 

Documentatie: Dit is een raceauto. Dus niet toegelaten op de openbare weg, wel op circuits. Daarom heeft de auto GEEN gelijkvormigheidsattesten, enz. Andere documenten en facturen aanwezig zie foto.
