Handgedraaide ambachtelijke Jacaranda-houten vervaardigde vaas in de stijl van het Deense ontwerpduo Alan Schoultz & Maurice Bonami, wier werk in de jaren zestig en zeventig internationaal erkenning kreeg vanwege hun verfijnde houtbewerking en moderne organische vormgeving. Hun ontwerpen belichamen het beste van Scandinavisch modernisme – sober, natuurlijk en sensueel tegelijk.

Deze unieke vaas toont een subtiel samenspel tussen natuurlijke ruwe bast en glad gepolijste houtpartijen, waardoor de schoonheid van het materiaal volledig tot zijn recht komt.

De warme, roodbruine tinten van het Jacaranda-hout worden versterkt door een zijdeachtige olieafwerking, terwijl de behouden schorsrand de vaas een levendige, bijna landschappelijke uitstraling geeft. Elk facet van dit stuk ademt ambacht: van de zorgvuldig uitgebalanceerde vorm tot de vloeiende overgang tussen ruw en glad hout.

De vaas combineert de Scandinavische eenvoud van vorm met de poëtische expressie van puur natuurmateriaal – precies de stijl die hetvdup wereldwijde waardering opleverde. Een waar kunstobject dat moeiteloos past in zowel moderne als klassieke interieurs.
