This elegant ewer originates from the Ottoman Empire and is made entirely of copper. The body features refined hand-engraved decorative motifs, while the lid and spout are adorned with distinctive bird-shaped finials, characteristic of Ottoman aesthetic symbolism. Both the underside and the top part of the lid bear Ottoman script marks, indicating period craftsmanship.

Based on stylistic characteristics, material, and marking style, similar pieces are generally dated to the late 19th – early 20th century (circa 1880–1920).

A remarkable example of Ottoman metalwork – ideal for collectors of Islamic art, antique metalware, or for interior decoration that seeks a historical focal piece.
