Beschrijving van de verkoper
Antiek gietijzeren wiel met spaken / kanonrad — vroege 20e eeuw — industriële decoratie — wandkunst
A striking antique cast iron spoked wheel, salvaged from early industrial or military equipment — likely a wagon wheel, artillery wheel, or heavy agricultural machinery from the late 19th or early 20th century. A powerful decorative object with exceptional presence.
Features:
Construction: Cast iron — 12 spokes with central hub and outer rim ring
Hub: Cylindrical central hub with hollow axle bore and riveted spoke mounts
Rim: Heavy cast iron outer ring with riveted spoke attachments
Patina: Deep warm rust-brown — natural oxidation developed over decades of use and outdoor storage
Surface: No paint — entirely original raw iron surface
Condition: Good to very good — natural rust patina, surface oxidation and minor casting marks consistent with age; structurally sound — no cracks or breaks observed
Diameter: Approx. 50–60 cm (please confirm)
Material: Cast iron
Colour: Rust brown (natural patina)
Origin: Central/Eastern Europe (likely Poland)
Period: Late 19th – early 20th century
Highly sought after for industrial, steampunk, loft, rustic, and raw interior design. Works beautifully as a wall decoration, shelf display, table base, or sculptural object. Popular in restaurants, bars, studios, and creative offices.
Shipping: Sent via registered and fully tracked courier service.
