Finely crafted ancient Egyptian amulet in the form of the Udjat Eye (Eye of Horus), one of the most important protective symbols of ancient Egypt. The Udjat Eye symbolized healing, wholeness, strength, regeneration, and divine protection. The amulet features a slightly convex front with clearly defined details, including the eyelid, characteristic tear marking, and spiral element. The reverse is smooth. A complete lateral perforation allowed the amulet to be worn as a pendant or incorporated into funerary adornment and mummy wrappings. Condition: Very well preserved, with clear and deeply defined contours. The lateral perforation is fully intact. Minor deposits, surface wear, and small age-related micro-chips. Provenance: Formerly in the Madeleine & Erich Dammann Collection, Germany. Acquired during the owners' extensive travels between 1950 and 1970. Documented in Germany by 1970 and subsequently retained in continuous family ownership.
