Large pale white nephrite jade Archaic pendant –China- 20th Century
On offer is a very good large pale white nephrite jade pendant. The top and the edge of the pendant are finely engraved in Chinese archaic style. The larger surface of the pendant is not engraved. The described engravings on both sides are executed in high quality. A very nice pendant made in Chinese taste!
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This pendant is obtained from inland China. a Valuable and rare jade, very suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift!
