Raffinato scalda-vivande doppio in metallo argentato, realizzato dalla Maison Gallia Christofle per la sua storica produzione Gallia, linea destinata a oggetti funzionali di alta qualità, caratterizzati da solidità costruttiva, eleganza sobria e grande attenzione al design.



La struttura presenta una forma ovale a galleria, studiata per sostenere piatti da portata e mantenerli in temperatura grazie a due bruciatori originali collocati al centro. Il disegno è equilibrato e armonioso, con linee pulite e proporzioni ben calibrate, tipiche della produzione Gallia del primo Novecento, spesso destinata a un utilizzo sia domestico che di rappresentanza.



Sono visibili i punzoni originali Christofle – Gallia, che ne attestano autenticità e produzione presso le manifatture Christofle di Francia.









Cenni storici





La linea Gallia nasce all’inizio del XX secolo come produzione parallela della Maison Christofle, dedicata a oggetti da tavola e da servizio di uso quotidiano ma di livello superiore. Gli articoli Gallia si distinguono per l’eccellente argentatura, la robustezza strutturale e un linguaggio decorativo sobrio, spesso influenzato dalle correnti Art Déco e dal modernismo francese.



Gli scalda-vivande Gallia erano elementi indispensabili nelle tavole borghesi e nelle sale da pranzo di rappresentanza, testimoniando l’arte del ricevere tipica dell’epoca.
