Degué (David Guéron) – Signed Art Deco ceiling lamp – France – ca. 1930
Beautiful and authentic Art Deco hanging ceiling lamp by Degué (David Guéron), Paris.
This model features a thick moulded pressed glass bowl with stylised floral and geometric decoration. The glass is finished in a soft satin texture with a warm honey / pale amber tone. The relief design combines floral motifs and radiating Art Deco fan elements, typical of Degué production from the early 1930s.
The bowl is signed “Degué” within the decoration (see photo).
The lamp is suspended by three chains. The electrical fitting has been modernised for contemporary use.
