The Volvo Amazon was designed by Jan Wilsgaard and introduced to the public on 1 September 1956, but delivery did not start until March 1957. It was meant as the successor of the popular Volvo PV444.

This is a real barn find. The owner recently passed away, they bought the car on 20-05-1997 from the father of Paul Haenen (a famous Dutch person). The car was admitted on 25-04-1967 and a Dutch registration was issued on 13-01-1978. It is still in 100% original condition. Engine, gearbox and drive shaft are disassembled. An additional engine is available. The front right mudguard is bad and a replacement is available. The bottom of the doors need attention. Apart from assembly work, no major work to the body is really necessary. The paint is still original as well as the interior. A unique car in unique condition.
