This beautiful and nicely drivable Volkswagen 1300 was manufactured in June 1971 and is currently equipped with a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder boxer engine linked to a 4-speed gearbox, manual transmission. 

The car comes with the submitted Swedish deregistration documents and can be provided with EU export documents without additional cost for easy registration in the country of its new owner. 

It's been driven in Sweden all its life. The car was recently repainted in the original colour. 

With an approved periodic technical inspection conducted in Sweden at the start of this year, so still valid. 

The motor starts well, gear shifting is okay but there's a lot of play. So the shifting mechanism needs to be checked. The brakes are fine. The undercarriage has been welded here and there. The quality of the welding could be better, but was sufficient to get the Swedish periodic inspection approval. I don't know whether or not this also suffices in other countries. Please view the photos carefully. 

The interior is very neat and the car can be used right away. 

In short, a lovely classic. The seller has many contacts, both domestically and abroad, and can advise you about new and used parts. 

The car is located in Hengevelde, the Netherlands.	

The seller can arrange relatively inexpensive transport throughout the EU, even now during the coronavirus crisis. Worldwide transport is not a problem as this would be done by a professional transport company.
