The first owner, a doctor from southern Germany, ordered this Alfetta 2.0L directly from the factory in Milan in 1979. Ten years later, after his death, the car became the property of a befriended couple who used the Alfetta for another 2 years after which it ended up in a shed with a mileage of around 88,000 km. 

In 2015 this shed was cleaned up and the Alfetta reappeared and the new owner carried out a limited restoration and made the Alfetta roadworthy again. The whole story can be read in the Motor Klassik of November 2018 (a copy is included). 

The car was imported to the Netherlands in 2020 and now has a Dutch registration. The current odometer reading is 96,000 km and the particularly beautiful condition of the interior is evidence of this. More than €6500 in parts and maintenance has been invested in the Alfetta in recent years and it drives excellently.

The condition of the body is somewhat behind the excellent technical condition: the door bottoms are not rust-free and the rubbers on the door bottoms are partially missing. The sill under the rear window has been restored but is not neatly aligned in height relative to the boot lid. The bottom is largely hard, the jack support at the front right is slightly dented and the bottom of the spare wheel well was rusted through and has been made waterproof, but is missing the original rubber caps and the towing eye. The sills are original and hard. The car was repainted in 2015 in the original colour 'Blu Pervinca'. The Alfetta has a valid MOT until 31-03-2024.

Parts replaced and maintenance performed from 2015 to present, including:

complete clutch replaced including clutch cylinder
Front and rear brake discs replaced including brake pads
replace front brake calipers
replace master cylinder
replace all hydraulic hoses at the front
replace all fuel hoses
new fuel pump
new King fuel filter housing
overhaul of the carburettors including professional ultrasonic cleaning
Replacing rubbers of the front and rear window
replace all hard drives
wheel bearings at the front have been replaced
replaced heater valve
replaced oil pressure sender
