PANORAMICA/CONDIZIONI
Rara Simca 1000 Coupé, prodotta in circa 10.000 esemplari tra il 1962 ed il 1967 oggi sono pochi gli esemplari sopravvissuti.

Venne disegnata dal giovanissimo Giorgetto Giugiaro all’epoca impiegato alla carrozzeria Bertone e nello stabilimento di Grugliasco, vennero prodotte le scocche grezze; poi le carrozzerie venivano spedite per ferrovia allo stabilimento Simca di Poissy dove venivano completate. 

La Coupé esordì al Salone di Ginevra del 1962: era basata sulla struttura della “quattro porte”, anche il motore era lo stesso tipo 315 “Poissy”, ma l'impianto frenante con quattro freni a disco. 

Questo esemplare è uno degli ultimi prodotti e si tratta di un'auto destinata specificamente al mercato italiano: 
oltre agli indicatori di direzione sui parafanghi anteriori presenta un interno diverso con il cruscotto rivestito in finto legno, il volante sportivo Five Stars con corona di legno, gli strumenti Veglia Borletti con scritte in italiano, il sedile posteriore completamente imbottito. 

Come risulta dal documento originale questa 1000 Coupé fu immatricolata nella provincia di Treviso il 17 agosto 1966; colore “Vert Velasquez”, interni in vinile beige, telaio SB161764. 

Rimasta nei dintorni di Treviso fino a qualche mese fa questa piccola vettura sportiva si presenta oggi in condizioni molto buone con soli due proprietari.  

La vettura è sana, priva di corrosione, completa ed originale ed ha ricevuto un leggero restauro all’inizio degli anni Novanta, quando venne riverniciata nel colore originale; fu un lavoro ben eseguito ma la vernice mostra ora qualche imperfezione e segno del tempo; i paraurti cromati, originali, mostrano in superficie dei puntini di ruggine. 

L’interno è in condizioni molto buone. 
Meccanicamente l’auto è in ottima efficienza: il motore gira regolarmente, non scalda, non fuma ed è stato dotato da nuova di una marmitta sportiva a doppia uscita Reca. Inoltre recentemente ho sostituito la pompa della benzina ed il comando idraulico della frizione. 
Su strada va molto bene. 

Nel 1994 venne omologata dall’ASI con targa argento. 

Attualmente l’auto risulta radiata dal Pubblico Registro, ma è disponibile tutta la documentazione necessaria alla reimmatricolazione. 
Si consiglia di verificare la possibile registrazione nel proprio paese di destinazione.
