Mini Cooper S | 40th anniversary edition | 11-1999 | 1st owner | 30600km!

This original Mini Cooper 40th is in perfect condition, purchased from the 1st owner in Italy which has perfectly maintained it.
The dry climate, heated place of storage and it only having been used for short drives make that this Mini has a very low mileage after 24 years and that it is in beautiful condition. 

The Rover Mini Cooper 1.3i is the 40th anniversary edition; this special version of the last Classic Mini series is very rare and only delivered in Italy in Mulberry Red, Black, and British Racing Green.
This red version is very special because of the metallic gold glow, the beautiful burgundy-red leather, the aluminium dashboard with 40th magnolia clocks and full leather finish.
The 1st owner has neatly maintained the Mini and stored it under a cover, warm, in a garage near Andora, Italy; the mileage is only 30,600 km.

For the enthusiast with an eye for detail who is looking for one of the most special Classic Minis of the moment and one of the best investments!

Exterior:
With wonderful Mulberry dark-red metallic paint, with an original gold trim, on the eccentric 12-inch  Minilight rims with as good as new tires!
The varnish shows no signs of aging and is in excellent condition, no damage or other imperfections, simply perfect!
The fender wideners are original and were painted when the car was painted and fitted with the original rubbers.
The chrome is like new, it has two neat stainless steel bumpers with rosettes, a 9-strip chrome grille, 2 extra, original ROVER MINI distance headlamps and green-tinted windows with heating.
The Mini Cooper features a rare 40th-edition bonnet / engine bonnet badge (which has a gold-leaf inlay), wing badge on the tailgate, GB chrome letters on the tailgate and new window rubbers, tendons and door seals.
The Mini has a new Fletcher stainless steel exhaust system; this double Cooper S exhaust produces a cool and beautiful sound and also delivers extra power. 
Unique elements are the original 40th edition decals on the side screens and boot lid!

Interior:
Breathtaking, in absolute top condition and completely original! The interior is characterised by the burgundy leather chairs and backseat with beige piping and finish, the carpeting is as if you are getting into a new car, pristine and sublime!
The dashboard panels at the top  and bottom have the same leather finish, as well as the door panels and gear stick cover! The dashboard itself is made of brushed aluminium which was originally supplied with the 40th edition, the clocks are from Smiths and fitted with magnolia-white dials with 40th-edition logo.
The steering wheel, equipped with airbag, is completely made of leather and finished with the same beige leather colour as the piping of the seats, the gear stick knob is also in this style!
The original Pioneer radio/CD-player is in good condition.
The floor has a set of new original black Cooper mats with the CW logo and finish; these can also be delivered in red, if preferred.
No one has ever smoked inside this Mini and as indicated, the exterior as well as the interior look like new (which is of course not very surprising for a mileage of only 30.600 km)

Mechanics:
Original booklets included! Original mileage of 30.600 and when you open the bonnet it is a feast for the eyes! More than 63 hp and only maintained with original parts!
The engine runs great, the car is fitted with an alarm and immobiliser, the 4-speed manual gearbox shifts perfectly.
The heating also works fine just like   all the electronics, such as lighting, windscreen wipers etc. Technically fully checked, valves adjusted, oil and filters refreshed and replaced, the suspension is like new, with front disc brakes, brake booster and new fluids.
Mechanically one of the best Classic Minis that we ever saw.

Bottom:
The entire bottom is in good condition, the bottom is original and has never been welded, the sills are neat and there is no rust or damage.
Equipped with the original subframe, the original exhaust and all brakes and pipes are in new condition.
The Mini does not leak or lose oil and was fully treated with an ML protective coating.

This comprehensive description shows how original and pristine this Mini is; no flaws, an extremely low mileage and it’s also a perfect and very good investment!
Driving this Cooper is wonderful, the 63 hp with the powerful 1275 cc MPI Cooper engine gives you a true rally feeling.
