The Sport Evolution version, known as Evo 3, is the maximum expression of the E30 M series. 
It is one of a kind: the engine goes from 2,300 to 2,500cc and the power to 225 HP, making it the most powerful E30. The bodywork has a new lower front spoiler and a new higher rear spoiler with adjustable black wing. Many details are in alloy or light fibres, such as the tailgate. Alcantara steering wheel, high version seats, unique to the Sport Evolution series.

This example up for auction is from a very high collection: equipped with a sunroof, adjustable suspension and many other optionals, it is one of the 204 built in Brilliantrot, out of a total production of 600 

The history is fully known and it has had two owners since new.

Registered in Germany at the Autodepping dealer, 4930 Detmold, Germany on 23/05/1990 soon after registered in Madrid, Spain on 16/10/1990 with registration M-7162-LN (registrations still with the car). Just one owner until 2018, it was then acquired by a dealer who sold the car on 30/07/2020 to the current owner.

Completely original engine, gearbox, suspension, colour and interior, never tuned. Full matching numbers, colours - ASI Targa Oro approved.

Complete with all the birth kit: double keys, Spanish booklet from 1990, complete manuals and service book with official stamps, optional factory stickers, tool kit and BMW certificate

The bodywork has had only one external repaint a few years ago and has just received a complete and nanotechnological detailing: it looks very shiny. A feeler gauge test found no crashes.

The interior is still original in leather and has undergone complete cleaning and reinforcement treatment, as well as total detailing;

Mechanically it has always had constant and complete maintenance and is ready to drive. A compression test gave excellent values (see photo), all the electrical system is working including the roof and suspension adjustment;

The underbody is in very good factory condition, it has never never had damage or welds and still has the original paint.

Note: A/C compressor working but the lines need to be serviced

This very rare M3 is a unique investment opportunity for a car with a clear and documented history and was produced in very few examples. Impossible to find in this condition.

The technical inspection was passed in March 2023 valid until March 2025 and no defects have been highlighted
