Saab 96 V4 (1973) in good conditions.

Car originally sold in Holland, imported to Spain some years ago and currently registered in Spain with normal number plates. Has been the daily car of the current owner for many years.

Fitted with the desirable V4 Ford engine, it is in good overall condition. When the seller got the car he removed all the panels and treated everything with a corrosion protection, the car remains in good order. All rubber bushes and gaiters in the steering and suspension have been replaced, there is no significant wear in any of the steering, suspension and brake components.

The car is fitted with a Stainless steel exhaust. The seller also fitted a Weber carburettor to replace the original. Also an electronic ignition is fitted. The engine starts and runs without problems and pulls strongly. The previous owner had the engine overhauled.

The car could be improved; the alternator bearing is a little noisy, the driver seat needs a repair (please see photos), the gearbox is a little tired being slightly noisy in second gear and the freewheel devise is not functioning perfectly, as it is a bit slow to engage.

The speedometer cable has broken recently and needs to be replaced. The tyres are showing some signs of age with minor cracking to the sidewalls. The paintwork is presentable but not perfect. The Bumpers would benefit from re-chroming as the chrome plating is dull.

The car is in good solid general condition with some work to make it excellent. It is ready to be used, with valid ITV and documents.
