Info Silver Bug:
De VW SILVER BUG uitvoering is gelanceerd toen de 20.000.000 Kever van de band rolde.
Er zijn 2000 Silver Bugs gemaakt in 1981… Er volgde nog 1700 extra in 02/1982.
Kenmerken zijn de embleem toevoegingen op de achterklep en versnellingspook. Ook de decorstrepen op de deuren zijn een kenmerkende toevoeging net zoals de velgen met sierranden, hoofdsteunen, 3-punts automatische veiligheidsgordels en specifieke zetelbekleding.
