OVERVIEW /CONDITION The Touring E6 was the first BMW coupè. Matching Number engine and body. Registration date October 1973. 2nd owner since 2013, totally restored, technical inspection valid in Italy from 06-2024. Perfect and fun 1800cc 4 cylinder engine. Current kW or hp unknown [(estimate maybe 130hp, DynoTest needed), were 90hp standard, possible roller test to be done]. 4-speed regenerated mechanical gearbox, regenerated brake system, new suspensions Bilstein, all new seals. Wide body kit same Alpina version. Body and engine completely dismantled. [approximately 6000 km to the assets, an oil change carried out at 1522 km. Interior redone (original steering wheel not fitted but supplied), perfect dashboard without central crack. All original glasses, the front is new because it was broken. Complete list and photos of all the work done. Excellent underbody. Used only in dry conditions. Powerful modified engine last step street legal with 292° camshaft, two Weber 40 carburettors, 8000 rpm, open ducts, new clutch, lightened balanced crankshaft, spaghetti manifold exhaust four in one, new pistons, connecting rods balance, new valves, new and balanced flywheel. Standard differential, no LSD. Some components have been maintained, for example outside the chromed line which has remained original and therefore has small signs. No work to do. Only the crystal lava spray motor does not work when mounted, I don’t know. Perfect body without scratches, rust bubbles or dents, no accidents even at the time. Original black plate with white numbers. Annual costs in Italy: Only insurance 190 €, no ASI registration (because is over 30 years old). This car was registered in court by a technical expert.
